My name is Bee Gats, and I go to school at Columbus State. How does our footwear affect us? Well that's the premise of this blog. I've had a love of sneakers since I was a little kid. I grew up dirt poor, and my shoes were the object of ridicule on more than one occasion. It's hard enough growing up in group homes and orphanages, let alone when you throw in bigger kid's jokes, but what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. So being the inventive type, I came up with various schemes to procure the shoes I wanted, but that is a story for another day. In the world of Nike there isn't much i don't know, not to say I'm an expert, but I've spent a lot of time and money on the subject. I'd like to get my knowledge up on other brands and delve into various stories about shoes from the past. So I'm going to try to do that, and keep it interesting. Enjoy.
